Because who doesn’t love a new phone wallpaper? #sorella.blog #wallpaper

Reminding you today that something beautiful can always bloom out of the deep and dark. Don’t hide away from talking about the lowlights as much as you desire posting the highlights. People can’t relate to perfect but they can relate to the process. Keep going, you’re doing better than you think 🌸🕊

“My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” Psalm 73:26

Have you taken your portion today?

Because of Him,

everywhere I go,

everywhere I look,

wonder. 😌

‘Why’ makes it relatable, ‘again’ makes it hopeful. I tend to sway more to things I can relate to rather than things I can hope for. I’m realising I need to trade the choice of relating to things (which will ultimately keep me where I’m at) and instead, hope for things which will inevitably produce change💭

I don’t want to walk in my wants; I want to walk in God’s will. I don’t want to ignore the worlds tragedies; I want to stand for justice. I don’t want to just ‘be‘; I want to make a difference. It’s a tough prayer to pray: “Show me my sin” it’s a heartfelt cry and comes with a great responsibility that only repentance can enable. This has been my prayer; it has been an eye-opening horror in some respects, but I’m willing to walk the road that gets me to becoming more like Jesus.
Usually I cringe when one forsakes punctuation, but in this case I want the sole focus to be on each letter as it forms these unfeigned words. Say it once, write it twice, speak it three times; keep your unfamiliarity to the greatness of Christ and let it be at constant work within you. He is literally all I want. And by Him I definitely mean Jesus… HA.
The instead is for you too.
My comfort in affliction is remembering all God has promised me. My afflictions are not the end, they’re just a means to it.
You choose what you sow. Let it be good.
PROMESSE D'AMORE// DON'T FORGET THE PROMISE 💖
My confidence in who God is outweighs the circumstances I find myself walking through.
The virtuous woman is focussed on the sights of eternity.
“Unless we form the habit of going to the Bible in bright moments as well as in trouble, we cannot fully respond to its consolations because we lack equilibrium between light and darkness.” - Helen Keller •
Today’s edit is inspired by the Bible - in all its glories and wonders within every page there’s only more to uncover❤️

💖⛑anxieties army is always defeated by the comfort we have in Jesus 💐🌷
Do your words comfort or do they kill? Are they a warm embrace or a shrug of the shoulders to those hurting? Do they invite or bring exclusion? Do they promote scripture or advertise worldly idols? Your words say a lot, they’re a direct compass telling those around you where you’re headed. It’s an overflow of the most sacred yet deceptive thing - your heart. Be careful what you say. The power of life and death are in the words you speak over yourself and others.
